This New Moon takes place on Friday 24th January at 21.42 UT, at 4.22 degrees Aquarius. 4 is the number of Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, and 22 is the Master number of this year, 2020. This is a turning point, and the key that opens the lock of the Age of Aquarius.
We have just been through a major eclipse season in December and January, and the exact Saturn Pluto conjunction which will continue to dominate the year as its influence gradually moves out of aspect. Many have been struggling through these dense energies and deeply challenging soul tests. This new moon offers a breath of fresh air, in the sign of Aquarius, which is all about the new.
The Sun has moved out of the cardinal earth sign of Capricorn, into the fixed air of Aquarius, where the Moon joins it. This is inward moving air, which is extremely powerful for meditation. Thoughts turn from pressing practicalities to beliefs and ideologies. Ideologies are what have shaped our reality throughout the course of history. Aquarius rules inventions, new ideas, genius inspirations and bolts from the blue. Uranus is the Great Awakener, bringing electrical impulses and divine intervention.
We have, of course, been moving out of the great age of Pisces which began with the birth of Christ, and moving into the age of Aquarius which is truly beginning now. The last decades have been preparing us for this time, with the flower children of the 60s, 70s and the revolution of consciousness that has been happening with the birth of many lightworkers, starseeds and indigos.
Aquarius is the Water Bearer, bringing the water of life to the planet. This is a water planet and we are water beings. We need to purify and honour our waters. The glyph of Aquarius looks like lightning, because the water is in fact electricity, the electric currents that flow through this sign. There is a sense of unpredictability; anything could happen, the most unexpected and divinely guided events so be prepared and keep your balance.
Aquarius is the sign of universal brotherhood and sisterhood. It is all about “We”. Creating community, building rainbow bridges, celebrating the beauty of infinitely diverse unique individuals. It is time for this now.
The water bearer is offering an infinite flow of water /electricity from an urn, because this is the sign of giving out to the whole community, to the whole of humanity. Shining your light for the benefit of all. This is what we are seeing now, as tribes unite all over the world, building sacred bridges of light, purifying and activating the ley lines, connecting with earth energy points, and becoming a strong universal family.
Capricorn is the old established order, Aquarius is the new. While Pluto and Saturn continue their powerful clearing and restructuring work in Capricorn, the Sun and Moon are shining in Aquarius, giving us hope, bringing light to these times, and ushering in the age that we are here for, that we have been preparing for all our lives.
This is the perfect opportunity to connect deeply to your soul purpose, and your sacred mission. Connect, reconnect, and come into cosmic alignment. Water can cut through the hardest rock, with time, patience and persistence. We are seeing progress. The key is in working together, and each one fulfilling their divine role so that we can create a beautiful symphony.
Uranus /Aquarius creates quantum change that is miraculous and magnificent. Prepare to believe your eyes. Reality is ours to shape.
