The New Moon in Sagittarius brings a much-needed energy reset, allowing a pause to reflect on a deeper level of wisdom. With the Sun’s transit through Scorpio, you may have seen deeper into the psychological and mystical realms. Now these insights can be transformed into the pure fire of wisdom, as the Sun and Moon conjoin in the sign of the seeker.
Sagittarius is spiralling fire, which expands outwards like its ruler, Jupiter, always seeking to know more, be more, reach new spaces. The fire of the mind cannot be contained, and it will boldly go into new territory, expanding its influence and increasing its intelligence and illumination, so evolving and ascending.
Mercury is now in retrograde in Sagittarius, and communications are slowing down, along with all the travel delays and tech glitches that go with this transit. This new moon is a time to rest and recharge, and not try to do too much. With the Sun, Moon and Mercury retrograde in this sign, this is an ideal opportunity to look back at the past month, and reflect on what you have learned.
When you take the time to meditate, and contemplate on inner wisdom, new pathways are revealed. The mind will make new connections for you. You may see things you didn’t see before, and understand things on a deeper level. Sagittarius calls you to take the learnings from the watery depths of Scorpio, and transmute them into spiralling fire.
The significant aspects to the new moon are a trine to Mars, and a square to Saturn. The trine to Mars indicates a new course of action that will emerge after deep reflection at this time. Sagittarius is the archer, aiming high towards the stars, to new visions and goals. The active energy of Mars will propel you towards these visions, if you focus clearly and manifest from the highest guidance of your soul. Mars is in Leo, another fire sign, generating flamboyant creative energy in the direction you are guided.
The square to Saturn brings your visions down to earth, and urges you to proceed with caution. Whatever visions you have at this time, make sure the foundations are in place, and everything is watertight. This is not a time for shortcuts, but of harnessing the energies of time, space and karma in the correct way, with absolute integrity. Saturn can be your friend, if you learn to harness the energies of the material world and respect the natural laws. Saturn provides an anchor for launching your visions, which can make them manifest even more powerfully. We need to be deeply grounded in our earth connection in order to aim for the stars.

What could you achieve, if you really aligned your energy and focused on those dreams that come from the Divine? Who could you be, if you allowed yourself to truly live as a wisdom being fully present on earth?
There is so much more to know, when you enter the stillness. In stillness we are shown the truth. In stillness we can read the akasha, and go to another level of knowing. In stillness, we can connect with the higher wisdom that is waiting to reveal itself to us.
