The New Moon in Taurus brings a pause and reset to the powerful energies of the month of April. As the Sun and Moon conjoin in Taurus, we come back down to earth, and there is a sense of grounding and anchoring.

 

The new moon is the beginning of a new lunar cycle. It marks a time of introspection, stillness, and a pause to reflect. Taurus is the sign of slowing down, stopping to admire the view, smell the flowers, and bask in the beauty of the moment. Whatever may be happening, this moment is all there is, and there is beauty to be found in it.

 

While the Sun was in Aries, many new beginnings were initiated. With the retrogrades and eclipses, this was a time of deep reflection about the next phase of your journey. Major planetary alignments at the beginning of April activated far reaching changes, with souls coming together and embarking on a completely new journey. As the cardinal fire of Aries shifts to the fixed earth of Taurus, we begin to grow our new creations in the physical.

 

The new moon in Taurus asks you to focus on rest, self-care, simple pleasures, and putting practical steps in place for the future. Taurus is a very practical sign, and as life begins to blossom around you, it is important to grow your endeavours in the right way, with the ground beneath your feet.

 

This new moon is marked by a T-square to the Mars Pluto opposition, and all the planets are contained within this opposition on one side of the sky. This brings a sense of tension, conflicts coming to a head, and pressure to get things right. You may feel increased determination and a sense of being driven. The areas of life being activated for you depends on which houses this falls in your chart.

 

You may feel under pressure, but bear in mind that this is useable energy. There is a fixed quality which can enable you to dig deep and bring out your best qualities, like carbon being compressed into a diamond.

 

The key is to put your energy in the right place. When you summon all your power and consciousness, and decide on your path and purpose, nothing can stop you.

 

The feeling of pressure will diminish throughout the week, as Mars moves out of opposition with Pluto. Remember to stay focused on your own plans and not get distracted. The seeds you plant now will grow strong.

 

The karmic configuration with the North Node of destiny, Venus and Saturn in Pisces is asking you to get serious about your soul work. It is time to manifest and embody all you have inside you, and create something beautiful with your hard-won life wisdom and soul wisdom. Tune into the collective energies and the current need, and allow yourself to be fully present as an empath, so you can offer healing for those things you have healed in yourself.

 

As we stand at the beginning of Neptune’s transit through Aries, it is time for the new soul pioneers to emerge.
